The frequency as a float value in Hz.
Also allowed are:
The default units are HZ, although KHZ, MHZ, GHZ, and THZ can also be
specified.
The resolution of the frequency is always 1 Hz.

MAX: maximum modulation frequency
DEF: This is not the preset (*RST) default value but is half the sum of, the
minimum modulation frequency and the maximum modulation fre-
quency
