Message 1700 for safety functions
These messages are either alarms or faults, see the following table.
Cause
For further information, please refer to the List Manual.
STOP A initiated.
Fault value r0949 provides more detailed
information.
Defect in a monitoring channel.
More detailed information is supplied by fault
value r0949.
Safe Torque Off active.
Sign-of-life error in the safety data.
Internal software error
Acceptance test required
Synchronization, safety time slices
unsuccessful.
PROFIBUS configuration error
Motor Module parameter error.
Remedy
Select STO and then deselect again.
If the fault cannot be acknowledged,
replace the Control Unit.
Check the F-DI wiring and set the signal
filter (discrepancy, contact bounce or bit
pattern test). Switch the Control Unit
power supply off and then on again if the
fault cannot be acknowledged.
Replace the CU if the fault cannot be
acknowledged.
Depends on the triggering message.
Select STO and then deselect again.
Replace the CU if the fault cannot be
acknowledged.
Switch the Control Unit power supply off
and then on again.
Replace the CU if the fault cannot be
acknowledged.
Perform a function test, generate an
acceptance report and acknowledge the
fault.
Switch the Control Unit power supply off
and then on again.
Replace the CU if the fault cannot be
acknowledged.
Check the PROFIBUS configuration of
the safety slot on the master side and on
the Control Unit, and correct if
necessary.
Recommission the safety functions.
If unsuccessful, replace the CU.
