The bit status indicates each node's participation status as follows:
0: Not part of the network
1: Part of the network
Note When the local node is not part of the network, the local
node's participation status bit will be 0. The participa-
tion status of other nodes will not be reliable in this
case.
1: Local node data link participating
0: Local node data link not participating or data link
inactive
Data link status is enabled only when the local node is participating in the data
links. Make sure that the Local Node Participation Flag is ON before checking
data link status.
