TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEMS
It will not enter TEST
MODE.
The on-screen display is not
normal.
The projector does not
project images.
No response when the
START buttons on the
control panel and the left/
right buttons of the joystick
are pressed.
The halogen lamp does not
turn on.

The joystick generates input
without being touched.
The joystick does not
vibrate.
There is no input when the
joystick is tilted.
CIRCUIT PROTECTOR
Functions due to the activation of bimetal. To restore the function, wait for approximately 1 minute or longer until
the bimetal cools off. (Press the button.)
CAUSE
Problem with switch.
Problem with game board.
Incorrect procedure used to
switch to TEST MODE.
Improper adjustment of
projector position.
The screen is damaged or the
sheet is peeling.
Defective wiring between game
board and projector.
Projector overheat protection.
Projector lens cover is closed.
Projector lamp life.
Problem with projector.
Problem with game board.
Problem with buttons.
The connector came off.
Halogen lamp life.
Problem with centering
mechanism.
Problem with sensors.
STICK SWING setting is OFF.
Problem with motor and clutch.

CIRCUIT PROTECTOR
COUNTERMEASURES
Replace the switch.
Replace the game board. (See Chapter 16.)
Check the operating instructions. (See Chapter
9.)
Adjust the position of the projector. (See 6-5.)
Replace the screen. (See 15-2.)
Check to make sure the connectors are
connected.
If the power is turned on when the projector
is hot, it may take a while for the lamp to turn
on. It will take 5 minutes for the lamp to be
ready.
Remove the lens cover.
Replace the lamp. (See Chapter 11.)
Replace the projector.
Replace the game board. (See Chapter 16.)
Replace the buttons. (See Chapter 13.)
Check to make sure the connectors are
connected.
Replace the halogen lamp. (See Chapter 12.)
Replace the joystick unit.
Contact the office listed in this manual.
Change the STICK SWING setting to ON. (See
