From the boot menu options screen, type 2 to display the baud rate selection screen again.

Type 4 set the switch baud rate to 9600. The following message displays:

10. From the boot menu options screen, type 1 to start the new operational code. The following

Reverting to a Previous Image
In the event that you need to downgrade to a previous version of code, you can do so by
completing the following steps described in this chapter.
1.
Save your configuration, as described in"save config" (page 2‐43).
2.
Load your previous version of code on the device, as described in "Downloading a Firmware
Image" (page 2‐35).
3.
Set this older version of code to be the boot code, as described in "Reviewing and Selecting a
Boot Firmware Image" (page 2‐37).
4.
Reload the saved configuration onto the device as described in"configure" (page 2‐46).
Reviewing and Selecting a Boot Firmware Image
Purpose
To display and set the image file the switch loads at startup. The G3 switch allows you to
download and store a backup image, which can be selected as the startup image by using the
commands described in this section.
Commands
The commands used to review and select the switch's boot image file are listed below.

Note: You will not be able to peform these steps remotely unless you have remote console support.
