Trunk Group Administration

To administer the trunk group for the videoconference call, the
Trunk Group form is used (Screen D-2) and is populated in the
following manner:
Group Number: 10. This is the trunk group that accesses
SDN/SDDN.
Group Type: tie. The access trunk group is a tie trunk.
Direction: two-way. This trunk group will be used for both

incoming and outgoing calls.

Comm Type: rbavd. Robbed-bit alternate voice/data should be
used for dynamic access. This field can also be set to "data" for
static access.
Trunk Type: wink/wink. Digits will be supplied to and from
SDN/SDDN. Make sure that the trunk type is coordinated
with the network provider since the switch administration
must match how the network provides signaling.
The group members of this trunk group must be assigned on
pages 3 to 9 of the Trunk Group form. For 112 Kbps video
applications, at least two channels (DS0s) must be defined for the
trunk group. Also note that the Bit Rate, Synchronization, and
Duplex fields at the bottom of this form refer to modem pool
applications and do not affect this application.
