Power Supply Unit
An external power supply unit is required with the HSL. The
power supply unit connects between a grounded AC outlet and
the POWER connector at the rear of the unit. This power supply
unit provides the necessary operating voltages for the HSL. For
information on power requirements, refer to Chapter 7,
''Technical Description.''
The AC outlet to which you connect the power
CAUTION:
supply must not be controlled by a light dimmer.
It is also highly recommended that the AC outlet
not be controlled by a wall switch.
Instructions for connecting the power supply unit are provided in
Chapter 2, ''Installation.''
