Self-Test
The self-test is an internal check of the unit. It is a disruptive test
that resets the HSL, checks and initializes its internal circuits, and
displays the results on the LCD during the start-up sequence.
The self-test should be the first test conducted when any problem
is encountered. It is the only test that you can activate while
another test is in progress.
CAUTION:
Running the self-test causes a reset; a call
in progress will be disconnected.
The following procedure contains step-by-step instructions for
initiating a self-test from the front panel interface. Refer to the
Self-Test section in Chapter 6, ''Test Descriptions'' for details of
this test.
