Plug a D8W connector from the L2 adapter harness into

the connector on the rear of each new HSL labeled
LINE, and then skip to the section, Installing DC and
AC Power Cords, later in this chapter.
Note:
If you are using individual D8W cords (attribute 6):

Plug one end of a D8W cord into the connector on the

rear of the HSL labeled LINE.
Plug the free end of the D8W cord into the assigned

wall jack.
Use the same procedure for connecting each new unit

to the switch, and then skip to the section, Installing
DC and AC Power Cords, later in this chapter.

Existing Installation

The following procedure is for connecting additional units in an
existing data mounting to the switch.
