Reason: To prevent the image quality issue known as "Vertical lines" caused by excess
lubricant applied to the OPC drum
Action: If you encounter the above image quality issue, replace the brush roller with the
new brush roller described below.

NOTES:
 When replacing with the new brush roller (GD042012), make sure to remove the
"paper clips", if installed, from the previous brush roller.
 The new brush roller should be replaced only for units with the drum cleaning
unit registered with the p/n M0773600. This is because the modified drum
cleaning unit (M0773601) has the new brush roller. (See the following page.)
 The new brush roller applies the optimum amount of lubricant, preventing
vertical lines as a result of excess lubricant on the drum.
