Brake pedal free play adjustment steps:
-Turn the adjuster

until free play is within
the specified limits.
4. Adjust:
- Brake pedal free play

1. Adjust:
- Brake light operating timing
Hold the main body
CD
of the switch with
your hand so that it does not rotate, and turn
the adjuster

until the operating timing is
correct.
BRAKE SHOE INSPECTION
1. Squeeze the front brake lever.
2. Inspect:
-Wear indicator
CD
Indicator at wear limit line

Replace
front brake shoes.
3. Depress the rear brake pedal.
4. Inspect:
-Wear indicator

Indicator at wear limit line

rear brake shoes.

NOTE: _
Before checking and/ or adjusting, rotate the rear
wheel through several revolutions and check ten-
sion at several points to find the tightest point.
Check and/ or adjust the chain slack with the rear
wheel in this "tightest" position.
1. Place the motorcycle on a level place, and
hold it in an upright position.
NOTE: _
The both wheels on the ground without rider on it.
2. Check:
- Drive chain slack

Out of specification --+> Adjust.
Drive Chain Slack:
30-40 mm (1.2-1.6 in)
