PISTON
1. Install:
-Piston ring (Top)
CD
-Piston ring (2nd)

-Oil ring

To the piston.
NOTE: _
Face the punched mark upward.
2. Apply:
-Engine oil
To the piston pin, piston ring grooves and
pisto.n skirt areas.
3. Install:
-Piston
CD
-Piston pin
- Piston pin clip
NOTE: _
-The arrow
®
on the piston must point to the
front of the engine.
- Before installing the piston pin clip, cover the
crankcase with a clean towel or rag so you will
not accidentally drop the pin clip and material
into the crankcase.
-Always use a new piston pin clip.
