2. Install:
- Rear wheel assembly
- Brake shoe plate
NOTE: _
Be sure the swingarm boss correctly engages the
locating slot on the brake shoe plate.
4. Adjust:
-Rear brake
Refer to the IJCHAPTER 3- REAR BRAKE
ADJUSTMENT" section.
3. Adjust:
- Drive chain slack

SLACK ADJUSTMENT" section.
Drive Chain Slack:
30-40 mm (1.2-1.6 in)
Pedal Height: .
10 mm (0.39 in)
Pedal Free Play:
20-30 mm (0.8-1.2 in)
5. Tighten:
-Axle nut
I'
Axle Nut:
~
90 Nm (9.0 m.kg, 65 ft.lb)
6. Install:
-Cotter pin
Bend the ends of the cotter pin.
WARNING:
Always use a new cotter pin.
