VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: _
-Valve clearance should be measured or adjust-
ed when the engine is cool to the touch.
-Measure or adjust valve clearance when piston
at Top Dead Center (T.D.C.) on compression
stroke.
1. Remove:
-Seat
CD
2. Turn the fuel cock to 1I0FF".
3. Disconnect:
• Fuel hose
CD
4. Remove:
-,Fuel tank
CD
5. Remove:
-Spark plug
CD
-Tappet cover (Intake)

-Tappet cover (Exhaust)
