4. Install:
-O-ring

- Dowel pins

-Gasket (Cylinder-New)

If O-ring is damaged, replace it.
5. Lubricate:
-Engine oil
To the piston rings.
6. Install:
-O-ring (Cylinder)

To the cylinder.

If O-ring is damaged, replace it.
7. Offset the piston ring end gaps as shown.
NOTE: _
Be sure to check the manufacturer's marks or
numbers stamped on the rings are on the top side
of the rings.

8. Install:
- Cylinder
CD
NOTE: _
-Install the cylinder with one hand while com-
pressing the piston rings with the other hand.
- Tie the cam chain with a piece of mechanics wire
@,
and feed it through the chain opening.
