10B-46 AIR BAG SYSTEM
1. Passenger air bag (inflator) module
2. Instrument panel
3. Glove box
4. Glove box clip
5. Harness cover
INSTALLATION
1) Install passenger air bag (inflator) module to vehicle.
2) Tighten passenger air bag (inflator) module attaching bolts to
specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
3) Tighten passenger air bag (inflator) module attaching screws.
4) Connect negative cable to battery.
5) Enable air bag system. Refer to ENABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM
of SERVICE PRECAUTIONS in this section.
DRIVER AIR BAG (INFLATOR) MODULE
Refer to DRIVER AIR BAG (INFLATOR) MODULE in SECTION 3C
for removal, inspection and installation.
CONTACT COIL AND COMBINATION
SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Refer to COMBINATION SWITCH/CONTACT COIL AND COM-
BINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY in SECTION 3C for removal, in-
spection and installation.
