Suggested Action
Is the NBX 100 power cord firmly attached
at both the outlet and the chassis?
You must have at least one card in the
chassis and seated in the chassis
backplane.
If none of the previous actions reveal the
problem, call your support representative.
Be sure that the disk drive data cable is
installed correctly. See "Installing the Disk
Drive" on page 142 for more information.
Be sure that the disk drive is connected to
the chassis power supply. See "Installing
the Disk Drive" on page 142 for more
information.
Move the LAN connector of one of the
affected telephones to a different hub card
or external hub. If dial tone is now present
at the telephone, replace the hub.
Make sure that the call processor has a
valid LAN connection. If you use 10BASE-2
coax connections, make sure that any T
connectors are properly terminated.
If none of the previous actions reveal the
problem, call your support representative.
Disconnect the external telephone lines
and connect them to a standard telephone
to check for dial tone. If you still have no
dial tone, the problem could be with the
telephone company or at the punch block
where telephone service enters the
building.
If none of the previous actions reveal the
problem, call your support representative.
