9 Choose one of the six entries in the Framing Type pull-down list. Check
with your telephone carrier to determine which one is used on the E1 line
they supplied.

Multiframe with CRC4 is more common than Double Frame (Multiframe
without CRC4).
CAUTION: Do not use any of the next four choices with the E1 Interface
Type. If you do, NetSet warns you that combining this choice with E1 is
illegal.

10 Select one of the three entries from the Line Code pull-down list. Check
with your telephone carrier to determine which one is used on the E1 line
they supplied.
The HDB3 Line Code type is far more common than AMI, for E1 lines.

CAUTION: Do not use B8ZS with the E1 Interface Type. If you do, NetSet
warns you that combining this choice with E1 is illegal.

11 Select N/A - E1 from the Line Length pull-down list.
12 Click the On Line check box in the lower left corner of the window.
13 Click OK.
Configuring E1
To configure the E1 Groups, perform these steps.
Groups
1 Return to the Digital Line Cards tab.
2 From the Select Device Type list, select ISDN PRI Group List.
3 Click Apply.

F72 - 72 Frame Multiframe (SLC96)

B8ZS (Bipolar 8 Zero Substitution)
