ARDWARE
CAUTION: If you wall-mount the system, you must attach the NBX 100
chassis securely to a plywood mounting board which is firmly attached to
the wall. A fully configured 6-slot chassis can weigh up to 13.5 kg (30
pounds).
2 Drill pilot holes at the locations you marked.
3 Install the two lower mounting screws.
Do not tighten the screws. Thread them just far enough so that they will
support the weight of the NBX 100.
4 Lift the chassis and slide the two keyed mounting brackets over the
screws in the wall.
5 While holding the chassis in place, install screws into the top holes of
each mounting bracket, and then tighten all four screws.
The following list summarizes the guidelines for arranging NBX 100 cards
within one or more NBX 100 6-slot chassis.
The top space in each chassis allows for future expansion of the NBX
I
100 Network Call Processor (NCP). There are no guide slots behind the
blank faceplate cover and no connector on the chassis backplane, so
you cannot install a card into this space.
