Installation Procedure

CAUTION
The machine should always be turned off and its power cord disconnected
before you do this procedure.
1. If the machine is on, turn off the main
power switch.
2. Disconnect the network cable (if the
machine is connected to a network).
3. Remove the SD card slot cover [A]
(! x1).
4. Insert the SD card [B] into Slot 2.
5. Reattach the SD card slot cover
(! x1).
6. Print a list of system settings to
check that the machine can detect
this option.
7. Connect the network cable (if the
machine is connected to a network).
8. Turn the main power switch on.
9. Go into the SP mode and do SP5878.
10. Go out of the SP mode, turn the operation switch off, then turn the main power
switch off.
