3.5.3 DEVELOPER

Remove the toner cartridge (follow the instructions on the decal on the front left
side of the machine.
To avoid damaging the bias terminal on
the left end of the development unit,
handle it carefully.
[A]: Toner supply casing (! x 2)
[B]: Development filter and bracket.
NOTE: Make sure that the filter is re-
installed with the holes facing
down.
[C]: Raise the clutch-end up about 45° to
remove the developer, and then lay it
flat.
[D]: Rotate the unit to remove more
developer.
[E]: Rotate the knob to remove the
remaining developer.
