Manual voice VLAN assignment mode configuration example

Network requirements
As shown in
•
Device A transmits only voice traffic.
•
IP phone A send untagged voice traffic.
For correct voice traffic transmission, perform the following tasks on Device A:
•
Configure a voice VLAN to transmit voice traffic.
•
Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 to operate in manual voice VLAN assignment mode.
•
Add the MAC address of IP phone A to the device for voice packet identification. The mask is
FFFF-FF00-0000.

# Enable security mode for voice VLANs.

# Create VLAN 2.
[DeviceA] vlan 2
[DeviceA-vlan2] quit
# Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 to operate in manual voice VLAN assignment mode.

# Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 as a hybrid port.
