Remove the jammed staples (1),
and return the metal part pulled up
in step 5 to the original position (2).

Hold the orange lever to push the
staple cartridge into the machine
until you hear it click into place.

Close the front cover of the finisher.

Staple Jams in the Booklet Staple Cartridge (For C Booklet Finisher)
The following describes how to clear staple jams in the booklet staple cartridge when
the C Booklet Finisher (optional) is installed.

Make sure that the machine has
stopped, and open the front cover
of the finisher.

While pressing the levers R2 and
R3 to the right, pull out the unit.
• A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate unless the front cover is
completely closed.
