Basic Switcher Settings

Rotate the F2 knob to select the picture size and aspect ratio conversion
modes.
Normal: Do not convert either the picture size or aspect ratio.
Zoom: Expand the screen size to match the horizontal width of a 16:9
aspect ratio picture (vertical and horizontal zoom ratios are the same).
Full: Modify the picture size to match a 16:9 aspect ratio picture, so that all
areas of the picture are displayed (the vertical and horizontal
modification ratios are different).
Application of conversion settings of step 5 to identical picture
Note
If you select Normal when the switcher's video format is set to HD signals (see
page 70), black is added at the top, bottom, left, and right of the picture.
However, the top and bottom of the picture are cut if the input video is UXGA
or WUXGA. If you select Zoom, the top and bottom are cut for all types of video
(the amount cut depends on the picture size).
Use the following procedure to adjust the various levels of video input signals.
