3.3.22 The output is solid black

Scanning lamp
1) Does the scanning lamp go ON?
NO:
Pre-exposure lamp
2) Is the connector of the pre-exposure lamp connected?
NO:
Primary charging assembly
3) Make the following selections in service mode:
NO:
----------
4) Is the connection among the following normal?
NO:
Reader controller PCB, CCD unit
5) Does the problem occur only in copy images?
NO:
YES: Replace the CCD unit.

See "The scanning lamp fails to go ON."
Connect it.
COPIER>DISPLAY>DPOT. Is the setting of <VDM> between 390
and 460?
Check the primary charging assembly.
[1] reader controller PCB
[2] CCD unit
[3] DC controller PCB
[4] relay PCB
Connect them correctly.
[1] Replace the reader controller PCB.
[2] Replace the DC controller PCB.
