Viewing SMTP email antivirus statistics
The Antivirus Statistics table is located at the bottom of the SMTP Email tab. This table provides a summary
of all viruses detected in SMTP email.
The Server column lists the network address of the SMTP server that sent the infected email.
The Sender column lists the email address of the sender that sent the infected email.
The How Long Ago column lists the time elapsed since the infected email was received.

Virus scanning Web traffic

The UTM Firewall appliance can scan incoming Web traffic for viruses.
From the Firewall menu, click Antivirus > Web tab. The Antivirus Web page appears

Select the Virus check Web downloads checkbox. You must have access control enabled for this to

To treat oversized downloads as potential viruses and reject them, select the Reject overly large

downloads checkbox. The definition of an overly large download is specified by the Maximum size field
on the main Antivirus tab. See

Enabling FTP virus scanning

Use this procedure to enable and configure virus scanning. FTP transfers going through the appliance are
proxied and scanned for viruses.
