    About This Manual This Service Manual is intended to facilitate installation, troubleshooting and repair of the Intermec EasyCoder PF2i, PF4i, and PF4i Compact Industrial in the versions delivered at the date of publishing. Thus, all information on the Intermec Fingerprint fi rmware is based on version 8.10 and information on the the Intermec Programming Language (IPL)

    1.1 Identification EasyCoder PF2i The EasyCoder PF2i comes either as a dedicated direct thermal printer or, optionally, as a combined direct thermal/thermal transfer printer. It can use media up to 60 mm (2.36 inches) wide and has a print width of 56 mm (2.2 inches).
  • Page 11 (4.161 inches) at 11.81 dots/mm. The printer runs either Intermec Fingerprint Programming Language (FP) v8.10 (or later) or Intermec Programming Language (IPL) v2.10 or later. Externally, the difference is visible on the keyboard overlay. Fingerprint printers have 22 keys and IPL printers have 7 keys.
