Initial Power-On Tasks Overview

When you power on the server for the first time, you must take various steps that are
not required in subsequent power-on sessions.
Preparatory step
Connect a terminal or terminal
emulator to the SER MGT port.
Log in to the service processor and
change the default root password.
Purpose
This enables logging into the service processor before it has been
configured for network access.
