– Remove bolt -1- (40 Nm) and remove belt guide fitting -2- from
belt height adjuster.
– Remove bolt -3- (20 Nm) and remove belt height adjuster -4-
from mountings in support bracket.

– Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation is described for left side of vehicle. Fol‐
low same instructions for removal and installation of belt buckle
on right side as appropriate.
1.7.1 Removing
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
