General body repairs, interior - Edition 12.2009
– Remove left trim on electrically adjustable seat
– Remove front seat backrest
– Secure backrest to seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove cover and padding from front seat backrest

– Remove front side-airbag
– Disconnect wiring harnesses from drive motors -1- and -2-.
– Drill out rivet -3- on underside from rear.
– Drill out the two rivets -4- on left side.
– Drill out the two rivets -5- on right side.
– Unhook lumbar support from mountings in backrest frame
-arrows-.
– Detach components of lumbar support from backrest frame.

– Install in reverse order of removal.
