– Remove bar and operating lever on electrically adjustable seat

All vehicles
– Remove seat drawer mounting, if part of original equipment
⇒ page 263 .
– Remove front seat backrest
– Release profile -1- from mounting.
– Unhook retaining straps -2- on both sides of seat.
– Release profiles -3- from mountings on both sides of seat.
– Release profile -4- from mounting on front of seat.
– Roll up cover on outer sides working around perimeter.
– Using a small screwdriver, unclip cover profile -1- from mount‐
ings -2- in padding.
– If vehicle is equipped with seat heating, disconnect wiring har‐
ness -3- from seat frame.
Vehicles with seat occupied recognition
– Remove cover -4- from padding -5- and seat frame -6-.
