1.20.1 Removing
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 251
– Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove right trim on seat
– Remove left trim on electrically adjustable seat
– Remove bar and operating lever on electrically adjustable seat

– Remove front seat drawer mounting, if part of original equip‐
ment ⇒ page 263 .
– Remove front seat backrest
– Remove front seat cushion cover and padding
– Unscrew bolt -1- in rear area from seat frame.
Note
Bolt -1- points from inside out when installed.
– Separate wiring harness -2- from height adjustment -3-.
– Remove the two bolts -4-.
– Detach height adjustment -3- from mountings in seat frame.
