♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-
6.2 Removing and installing crash sensors
in front doors (Jetta 2005 ▸, Golf Variant
2007 ▸)
Note
Removal and installation is described for right side of vehicle.
Follow same instructions for left side as appropriate.
6.2.1 Removing
WARNING
Observe the general safety regulations when working on air‐
bag, belt tensioner and battery isolator units (pyrotechnic com‐
ponents) ⇒ page 89 .
All vehicles
– Disconnect vehicle battery ⇒ Electrical system; Rep. Gr. 27 ;
Disconnecting and reconnecting battery .
– Remove outer door panel ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. Gr. 57 ; Front door .
