Note
When removing cross member, note position of electrical wires
and their attachment; produce sketches or take photos if neces‐
sary!
– Disconnect wiring harness -1- from immobiliser reader coil -
D2- .
– Disconnect steering column from cross member ⇒ Running
gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr. 48 ; Steering column and
steering wheel; Assembly overview - steering column, left-
hand drive vehicles .
– Depending on equipment installed in vehicle, loosen electrical
wiring from cross member.
