In order to prevent soiling, seat rails -3- and -4- must be covered
with a cloth when removing bars -1- and -2-!
1.19 Removing and installing rake adjust‐
ment on electrically adjustable seat
Removal and installation of the rake adjustment is described for
the front left seat frame. Apply the same instructions for removal
and installation of the rake adjustment on the front right seat frame
as appropriate.
1.19.1 Removing
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 251
– Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove right trim on seat
– Remove left trim on electrically adjustable seat
– Remove bar and operating lever on electrically adjustable seat
