– Install in reverse order of removal.
1.21 Removing and installing lumbar support
on electrically adjustable seat
Removal and installation of the lumbar support is described for
the left backrest frame. Removal and installation of the lumbar
support on the right backrest frame is similar.
WARNING
Observe the general safety regulations when working on air‐
bag, belt tensioner and battery isolator units (pyrotechnic com‐
ponents) ⇒ page 89
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 251
– Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove right trim on seat
