– Pull strips -2- off roof.
– Cut back adhesive residue -3- using an electric cutter -
V.A.G 1561 A- and cutting blade -V.A.G 1561/20- -4-.
Note
If paint structure has been damaged on removal of the roof insulation/reinforcement, repair paint damage ac‐
cording to guidelines of ⇒ Paint workshop manual .
6.6.2 Installing
Note
Observe adhesive processing instructions when installing roof in‐
sulation/reinforcement.
– Use hand-cartridge gun -V.A.G 1628- to apply 1K assembly
adhesive -D 190 MKD A3- -2- onto roof insulation/reinforce‐
ment -1-.
– Dimension a = 61 mm
