EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM

The exhaust emission control system adopted by this model is an oxidizing catalytic converter which is
located in the middle of the exhaust muffler to reduce pollutants in the exhaust emission.

Catalytic Converter
Purpose
Reduce the concentration of
HC and CO in the exhaust
emission.
Function
The precious metal in the oxidizing catalytic
converter is used to oxidize HC and CO in the
exhaust emission into CO
air pollution.
Engine runs erratic at idle speed and
high fuel consumption
