Moving drive swinging arm clear

•
Secure front wheel.
•
Position lifter, BMW No. 00 1 570 with
BMW No. 00 1 580, underneath frame section.
•
Remove lines from clips:
•
Oxygen sensor
•
Alternator
•
Ignition trigger
•
Remove lines from clips:
•
Injector
•
Air temperature sensor
•
Idle actuator
•
Coolant temperature sensor to cylinder head

•
Release coolant hose from clip at injector and
holder (arrow) at variator cover.
•
Remove bottom fasteners from rear suspension
struts.

Move drive swinging arm clear.
•
Use locating device, BMW No. 33 1 531.
