Handing over the vehicle
This is the ideal opportunity to familiarise the cus-
tomer with the C 1 in order to ensure the customer's
satisfaction and safety

The following points must be demonstrated and
explained to the customer:

documentation and stowage space
–
Rider's Manual for description of the functions
–
Service and Technical Booklet for work on the
C 1
–
toolkit and stowage space
–
using the easy-lift
–
use of the seat belts - immobiliser
–
central seat-belt release
–
moving off, using the rear brake - clutch engage-
ment speed
–
windscreen wiper and how to refill the wind-
screen-washer reservoir
–
how to check oil and brake-fluid levels
–
how to adjust the mirrors
–
controls
–
instruments and telltale lights
–
optional equipment and accessories fitted.

The user must be given the following information:
–
running-in recommendations and inspection in-
tervals
–
obligatory use of crash helmet, or why obligation
is waived, as applicable
–
safety check
