WHEEL INSPECTION/SPOKE INSPECTION AND
TIGHTENING/CABLE INSPECTION

WHEEL INSPECTION

1.Inspect:
Wheels
G
Damage/Bends → Replace.
NOTE:
Always balance the wheel when a tire or wheel
has been changed or replaced.
WARNING
Never attempt even small repairs to the
G
wheel.
Ride conservatively after installing a tire
G
to allow it to seat itself properly on the
rim.

SPOKE INSPECTION AND TIGHTENING

1.Inspect:
Spokes 1
G
Bend/Damage → Replace.
Loose spoke → Retighten.
2.Tighten:
Spokes
G
Nipple:
0.6 m • kg

CABLE INSPECTION

WARNING
Damage cable sheath may cause corrosion
and interfere with the cable movement. An
unsafe condition may result so replace
such cable as soon as possible.
1.Inspect:
Cable sheath
G
Cables (throttle, clutch and starter)
G
Damage → Replace.
