CYLINDER AND PISTON
5.Remove:
Piston rings 1
G
NOTE:
When removing a piston rings, open the end
gap with your fingers and lift the other side of
the ring over the piston crown.

CYLINDER INSPECTION

1.Measure:
Cylinder bore
G
Out of specification → Rebore or replace.
NOTE:
Measure the cylinder bore with a cylinder
G
bore gauge.
Measure the cylinder bore in parallel to and
G
at right angles to the crankshaft. Then, find
the average of the measurements.
Cylinder bore:
70.000 ~ 70.018 mm
<Limit: 70.1 mm>
<Difference limit between A, B
and C: 0.03 mm>
2.Measure:
Warpage
G
Out of specification → Replace.
Cylinder warpage limit:
0.01 mm
