11.Inspect:
Clutch boss splines

Scoring/wear/damage → Replace clutch
boss assembly.
12.Inspect:
Oil filter
G
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Contamination → Clean the flushing oil.

1.Install:
Straight key

Primary drive gear 2

Crow washer 3
G
Lock washer 4
G
Nut (primary drive gear) 5

2.Install:
Clutch housing
G
Thrust washer
G
Clutch bass
G
Lock washer 1
G
Nut 2 (clutch boss)
G
NOTE:
Install the primary drive gear and clutch boss
nut 2 while holding the clutch boss with a
clutch holding tool 3.
Universal clutch holder:
90890-04086
3.Bend:
Lock washer tab 1 (primary drive gear and
