INSTALLATION
1.Install:
Top ring 1

2nd ring 2
G
Oil ring 3
G
NOTE:
Make sure to install the piston rings so that
G
the manufacture's marks or numbers are
located on the upper side of the rings.
Lubricate the pistons and piston rings liber-
G
ally with engine oil.
2.Install:
Piston 1
G
Piston pin 2
G
Piston pin clip 3
G
NOTE:
Apply engine oil onto the piston pins.
G
The "→" mark a on the piston must face the
exhaust side of the cylinder.
Before installing the piston pin clip, cover the
G
crankcase opening with a clean rag to pre-
vent the piston pin clip from falling into the
crankcase.
Make sure to install each piston in its respec-
G
tive cylinder.
3.Install:
O-ring
G
Gasket (cylinder)
G
Dowel pins
G
4.Position:
Piston rings
G
NOTE:
Offset the piston ring end gaps as shown.
