FRONT FORK REMOVAL

The following procedure applies to both of the
front fork legs.
1.Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
2.Remove:
Front wheel

Refer to the "FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKE
DISC" section.
3.Remove:
Bolts 1 (front fender)
G
Collars 2
G
Front fender 3
G
4.Loosen:
Cap bolt 1
G
Handle crown pinch bolt 2
G
Lower bracket pinch bolt 3
G
WARNING
Before loosening the upper and lower
bracket pinch bolts, support the front fork
leg.
5.Remove:
Front fork leg
G

FRONT FORK DISASSEMBLY

The following procedure applies to both of the
front fork legs.
1.Remove:
Cap bolt

O-ring

Spacer
G
Spring seat
G
Fork spring
