FRONT WHEEL ASSEMBLY

1.Install:
Bearing 1
G
Spacer
G
Bearing
G
Oil seal
G
NOTE:
Apply the lithium soap base grease on the
G
bearing and oil seal lip when installing.
Use a socket that matches the outside diam-
G
eter of the race of the bearing.
Always use a new oil seal.
G
Install the oil seal with its manufacturer's
G
marks or numbers facing outward.
CAUTION:
Do not strike the inner race of balls of the
bearing. Contact should be made only with
the outer race.

FRONT WHEEL INSTALLATION

1.Install:
Brake disc 1
G
NOTE:
®
Apply LOCTITE to the threads of the brake
G
disc bolts.
Tighten the brake disc bolts in stages using a
G
crisscross pattern.
2.Install:
Speedometer gear unit 1
G
NOTE:
Be sure that projections a inside the wheel
hub mesh with the slots b in the gear unit
assembly.
