3.Starter motor
Connect the battery positive terminal 1

and starter motor cable 2 using the jumper
lead 3

Check the starter motor operation.

4.Starter relay
Disconnect the starter relay coupler from

the wire harness.
Connect the battery (12 V) to the starter
G
relay terminals, using the jumper leads
Battery (+) lead → Yellow/Red 1 terminal
Battery (–) lead → Black 2 terminal
Check the starter motor for operation.

WARNING
A wire for the jumper lead must have the

equivalent capacity as that of the battery
lead or more, otherwise it may cause the
jumper lead to be burned.

Repair or replace starter motor.
