Capture Size

Either 1080 or 720 is selectable for the capture size. In either case, the capture size is
automatically converted depending on the HD OUT format setting.
Selecting "720" and unloading the magnification optics make images approx. 1-stop brighter than
"1080".
Selecting "1080" and loading the magnification optics provide higher resolution images than
"720".

How to change Capture Size
Change the capture size on the HEAD MENU and Load/Unload the Magnification Optics

Change Capture Size on the HEAD MENU
1. Open the HEAD MENU on the VF output and change CAPTURE of RECORDING to 720
in MENU (2/2)
2. Reboot the camera.

When changing to 720, unload the magnification optics as follows (See pictures on page 14)
1. Remove the lever on the mount ring of the magnification optics.
2. Loosen the screws of the air filter cover.
3. Remove the screws on the mount ring cover of the camera body and take off the cover.
4. Turn the lever on the mount ring of the camera body counter-clock wise.
5. Remove the magnification optics and tighten the screws of the air filter cover.
6. Done.

NOTE
1. When changing to 1080, load the magnification optics in reverse order.
2. Unloaded magnification optics must be treated carefully with soft cloth to prevent it from
scratch and dirt.
3. The mount ring cover can be damaged by too much torque.
4. The screws are small tiny parts (2pcs of M2x5) and easily lost. Keep them carefully.
