6.01.1 TYPE OF HARD DISK SUPPORTED
The VIPer807 supports AT Integrated Disk Drives. The AT embedded drive architecture
incorporates drive electronics and controller circuitry on a single printed circuit board
which is mounted directly to the disk drive chassis.
Integrating the hard drive and controller functions eliminates redundant circuitry, thus
providing greater reliability and performance at reduced cost.
