The rate at which characters are displayed on the screen, when a key is pressed and held down.
Specifies whether a keyboard is attached to the system.
Specifies the type of display adapter card installed in the system.
When Enabled, specifies PS/2 mouse support.
When Enabled, executes the POST memory routine on all system memory.
When Disabled, AMIBIOS only tests the first 1MB of system memory.
Turns On or Off (Enabled/Disabled) the ticking sound during the memory test.
Parity error checking for memory system.
When Enabled, displays "Hit <DEL> if you want to run Setup", when the system boots.
Specifies storage area for extented BIOS RAM information: address 0:300 in the system BIOS area in low memory, or the top 1KB of
the system programming area beginning at 639K (DOS 1K).
When Enabled, the boot-up routine is suspended and the screen displays the message "RUN SETUP UTILITY Press F1 to RESUME".
Press F1 to run the AMIBIOS Setup and update the setup.
On, Off
When set to Off, disactivates the Numeric Key Pad at power-on. Arrow keys are enabled.
When Enabled, performs the coprocessor test during the AMIBIOS POST.
When Enabled, specifies that a SEEK will be performed on floppy drive A: at system boot time.
When Enabled, makes a swap between floppy A: and B: (if present). This allows to boot from drive B:.
Specifies the boot sequence after AMIBIOS POST completes and attemps to boot DOS.
Sets the speed at which the system boots.
Enables or Disables the CPU Internal Cache Memory.
Specifies when a password check occurs: Setup option, when AMIBIOS is executed; Always option, when the computer is turned on.
When Enabled, the video ROM BIOS area at the specified address is copied (shadowed) from ROM to RAM
for faster execution.
When Enabled, shadows the contents of the ROM area beginning at the address specified.
Example: The SHADOW C800, 16K shadows the contents of ROM from C8000h-CBFFFh to RAM.
Not all BIOS can be shadowed. In some case, it can result in erratic operation. For example, if the expansion
board has built-in "Scratchpad memory" which is used internally, shadowing may cause unpredictable results.
In particular, the TEKNOR BIOS Extension and the Flash Window must not be shadowed.
Must be set to Enable, if you have more than 16MB of System Memory and want to boot with the OS2 operating system.
